Newport Restaurant Group is seeking an Event Manager to coordinate with culinary, service, and operations teams to deliver memorable events that reflect our brand's high standards.

A strong candidate will bring 4+ years in event coordination, exceptional communication, and a passion for hospitality. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits in a 100% employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of event coordination experience in hospitality.
• Experience with high-end weddings and customized events.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact after an event is confirmed.
• Conduct site tours and client consultations.
• Prepare and present event proposals and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Maintain relationships with repeat clients.
• Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure event details are executed to client expectations.
• Oversee all event details from booking through execution including menu selection, floor plans, AV, décor, and timeline.
• Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and service teams to ensure event requirements are met.
• Assist with post-event follow-up including feedback and billing.
• Attend industry meetings and events which may take place outside of regular business hours.
