Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an Event Manager to serve as the liaison between clients and hotel operations in downtown Milwaukee. This role focuses on building loyalty and sustainable client relationships while contributing to a premier guest experience.

The successful candidate will coordinate event details, lead tours, and work with internal departments to ensure flawless event execution in a recently renovated hotel connected to Baird Center.

Qualifications

• Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in event management.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, lead property tours, promote hotel services, and respond to inquiries.
• Create event details, including menus, contracts, correspondence, banquet orders, and arrangements.
• Coordinate event and meeting setup and execution with internal departments to meet client and operational needs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and event activity reports.
• Attend Catering/Events, Food & Beverage, Department Head, and other operational meetings as needed.
• Attend community, social, networking, and business events as appropriate.

What you'll be doing?
