Hilton Milwaukee seeks an experienced Event Manager to act as the liaison between clients and hotel operations, building loyalty and developing sustainable client relationships in downtown Milwaukee.

The role supports a recently renovated property connected to the Baird Center, focusing on world-class service, upscale amenities, and superior style. You will coordinate events, manage details, and contribute to strategic growth.

Qualificações

• Two to three years of relevant experience in event management, catering, hospitality, hotel operations, or related field.
• Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities.
• Ability to assess client needs, develop event solutions, and negotiate pricing.
• Preferred experience with hotel software systems such as Delphi / Amadeus / Passkey / PEP.

Responsabilidades

• Greet clients, lead property tours, promote hotel services, and respond to inquiries.
• Create event details, including menus, contracts, correspondence, banquet orders, and arrangements.
• Coordinate event and meeting setup with internal departments to meet client and operational needs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and event activity reports.
• Attend Catering/Events, Food & Beverage, Department Head, and other operational meetings as needed.
• Attend community, social, networking, and business events as appropriate.
• Stay current on the competitive market and local hospitality landscape.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll be doing?

What we are looking for?

• Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in event management, catering, hospitality, hotel operations, or a related field preferred
• Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills when interacting with internal and external guests
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to effectively assess client needs, develop event solutions, and negotiate pricing as appropriate
• Preferred experience with Delphi / Amadeus / Passkey / PEP or other hotel software system experience

Job Type: Manager, Salaried

Availability: Monday–Friday, with weekends and holidays as needed

Pay Range: $55,000-$60,000/year
