Job summary

White Lodging in Austin, TX is seeking an Event Manager to serve as the liaison between sales and clients throughout the event process, ensuring successful meetings and events for our premium properties.

You will maximize revenue through upsell opportunities, coordinate with sales and operations for flawless event execution, and forecast monthly food and beverage revenue while ensuring accurate billing. This role emphasizes guest service, reliability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and guest-focused approach.
• Attention to detail with a "make it right" mindset.
• Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, banquets and event service operations.
• Ability to work reliably and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Experience in sales, catering or banquets preferred, but not required.

• Ensure events run smoothly by communicating and coordinating with sales and various operations departments for execution of details.
• Conduct monthly forecasting of estimated food/beverage revenue and ensure billing accuracy.
