  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with external vendors, agencies, and production partners.
  • Capable of managing budgets, production schedules, and event operations.
  • Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of flagship events such as Connect, Connect on Tour, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Manage event timelines, milestones, workback plans, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, creative, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Partner with vendors, venues, agencies, and production teams to deliver polished and professional event experiences.
  • Track expenses, manage budgets, and oversee operational requirements to ensure events stay within scope and budget.
  • Support attendee registration workflows, communication plans, and run-of-show planning to ensure a flawless attendee experience.
  • Prepare and maintain event briefs, status updates, and post-event recaps for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly and keep stakeholders informed about any changes or challenges.
  • Uphold the company’s brand, standards, and strategic priorities throughout all event activities.

Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Work Schedule: 9am-5pm CST, Full-Time, Remote
Compensation: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Event Manager to join our Strategic Events team on a 9-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-profile, strategic events that engage customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, and capable of managing complex events from conception to completion while collaborating effectively across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through in managing multiple responsibilities.
