The role requires on-site, hands-on work before, during, and after events, with hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event calendar.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional-level experience coordinating and operating large events such as fairs, conferences/meetings, or expositions.
• An Associate Degree in business or public administration, marketing, event management, or related field AND two (2) years of professional-level experience coordinating and operating large events such as fairs, conferences/meetings, or expositions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and operate a wide variety of meetings, conferences, trade shows, consumer events, and public events held at Westside Commons.
• Serve as primary client liaison after contract execution, guiding clients through planning and coordinating event logistics.
• Ensure events are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual commitments.
• Oversee on-site, hands-on work including event setup/teardown, facility preparation, and compliance with building and fire codes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers (F&B, AV, janitorial, public safety) to deliver high-quality experiences.
