Biltmore is seeking an Event Crew member to support setup and strike for weddings and corporate events in Asheville. You will drive company vehicles, load and unload equipment, and ensure a clean, safe worksite with attention to detail. Cross-training to Tent Technician and Event Specialist roles is available as needed.

The role emphasizes on-site guest service, teamwork, and following diagrams and directions to deliver show-ready venues. Lift requirements are frequent and safety is paramount.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of event setup/logistics experience preferred.
• Clear communication and ability to follow directions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
• Capable of heavy lifting and prolonged standing during events.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to troubleshoot on site.

Responsabilités

• Assist with setup/strike and support for weddings, corporate events, and functions.
• Drive company vehicles for delivery, pickup, and smaller tasks with minimal supervision.
• Load/unload trucks and transport tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Set up equipment per diagram, test power requirements up to 20 amps.
• Operate related equipment safely, including forklifts and lifts as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and protect equipment from damage.
• Provide friendly, professional service to internal customers and guests.
• Cross-train for Tent Technician and Event Specialist roles as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards on site.
