Job summary

Biltmore is seeking an Event Operations - Work Crew member to assist with the setup, strike and support of weddings, corporate events and functions. You will report to the Crew Lead/ Event Supervisor and may drive company vehicles to complete delivery and installation tasks with little supervision.

This role involves loading and unloading equipment, keeping a clean workspace, and learning Tent Technician and Event Specialist duties.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
  • At least one year of prior experience working with event setup and logistics preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with focus on quality and safety.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction and execute instructions successfully.
  • Proactive and able to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with setup and strike of events according to plan.
  • Load and unload equipment; operate box truck and forklift as trained.
  • Load tables, chairs and rental items; ensure quality on arrival.
  • Provide friendly, professional service to internal customers and guests.
  • Help with power, lighting and stage setup per diagrams.
