Proof of the Pudding is hiring Line Cooks for Joliet, IL. This seasonal/part-time role focuses on preparing high-quality dishes for events at the Joliet Slammers stadium, supporting our culinary team with efficient, safe food service during game days.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year kitchen experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ServSafe certification or willingness to train. Join a team delivering memorable hospitality experiences at events across Chicago’s area.

Formación

• Education and/or Experience: 1+ year of experience working in a kitchen, experience in catering is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe certified or is available to receive training.

Responsabilidades

• Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
• Following prep lists that are created by lead culinary.
• Measuring ingredients, and seasonings.
• Preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock (HOT FOODS) to be used in the cooking process.
• Preparing simple dishes as directed by the Executive Chef.
• Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Assisting chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise.
• Supervising food and cooling room temperatures.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.
• Maintaining the highest level of food quality with your culinary team.
• Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas.
• Running food on game-days.
• Performs other related duties as required.
