Job summary

Proof of the Pudding, a premier food service provider for Auburn University events, seeks line cooks for game-day prep and on-site catering. You will assist culinary execution for football, basketball, and other events, reporting to the Executive Chef.

This seasonal/part-time role aligns with athletic schedules and requires strong kitchen discipline. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of high-volume food production, catering experience, and a solid understanding of food safety and BEO reading.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience producing food in a high-volume environment.
• Catering experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of BEOs and production sheets is expected.
• Live within or near Auburn, AL; ServSafe certification or training available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple dishes as directed by the Executive Chef.
• Maintain proper storage and accessibility of food items.
• Assist chefs in food prep and culinary tasks as needed.
• Supervise food temps and ensure sanitation throughout.
• Support inventory and organize food orders as directed.
