Job summary

Hornblower Group's City Cruises in San Francisco is seeking a Cook to prepare food for events, including cutting, chopping, peeling and plating. You will assist with processing deliveries and will maintain safe, sanitary workstations.

The position requires at least one year of kitchen experience (preferred) and a high school diploma or equivalent. You must be able to lift heavy items, work nights and weekends, and demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items using prep lists and standard recipes.
• Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Manages leftover foods correctly; label, date, and store properly.
• Maintains clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas.
• Stations must be cleaned, sanitized, and organized at shift end.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment per safety standards.
• Follows safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Additional job duties as assigned.
