Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Cook to provide excellent food preparation, execution, and service across the Toledo Complex, including Huntington Center and Glass City Center. You will deliver safely prepared food to customer-facing staff while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and supporting a fast-paced team.

As part of our venue operations, you will report for events, handle prep tasks, and collaborate with supervisors and chefs to ensure quality and timely service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; culinary degree preferred.
• 2-4 years experience in fast-paced food service.
• Proactive, self-motivated, organized; able to prioritize.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety.
• Ability to read and follow recipes; basic math.
• Team player; able to work under pressure.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
• Report for scheduled events on time and to assigned area.
• Fulfill opening and closing duties.
• Follow prep lists and timelines provided by supervisors.
• Prepare and deliver safely handled food to customer-facing staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
• Know kitchen layout and assist staff as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors, attendants, runners, chefs and management.
