Job summary

Legends Global in Toledo is seeking a Prep Cook to support food preparation, execution, and safe service across the Toledo Complex, including Huntington Center and Glass City Center.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume event setting, promoting teamwork and attention to detail while following recipes and safety standards. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, stock, food/beverage, concessions or event operations preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with others.
• Able to understand written and verbal directions and communicate with managers and staff.
• Able to work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and event days.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and move for extended periods.
• Occasionally able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Dependable, punctual, and prepared to report to work as scheduled.
• Follow company policies, safety expectations and procedures.

• Provide food preparation, execution, and delivery to customer-facing staff.
• Maintain friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Fulfill opening and closing duties as scheduled.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members on daily tasks and timelines.
• Adhere to recipes and safety standards in all prep work.
• Keep walk-ins, reach-ins, dry storage and work areas clean and organized.
• Know menus, specials, and allergen information.
• Communicate with chefs, attendants, runners, and management.
