Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks an on-site, hourly event tech support specialist to service Intuit Dome Arena and The Forum in Inglewood, CA. You will ensure POS systems and peripherals are ready, respond to live issues, and document resolutions after events.

You may also manage hardware installation, moves, and inventory across venues. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience with POS, hardware, and software support, basic networking, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience supporting tech systems (POS, hardware, software).
• Basic networking knowledge (firewalls, switches, wireless).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure POS and supporting systems are fully operational before each event.
• Respond to real-time tech issues and elevate as needed.
• Troubleshoot device connectivity, software, and hardware malfunctions.
• Record and report all issues, resolutions, and recommendations post-event.
• Install, move, or replace hardware as required (employee devices and printing peripherals).
• Maintain up-to-date inventories of tech equipment.
• Support and troubleshoot all designated equipment operating POS software (Apple and Android).
• Send out daily recap reports detailing event-day performance and ongoing concerns post event.
