Job summary

University of Southern California is seeking event staff to support IT/AV for on-site events at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. You will assist with setup/teardown, equipment transport, and on-site adjustments to meet event needs.

Responsibilities include equipment mounting, wiring, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring a safe and organized event space. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1 year of industry relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, IT focus, Audio/Video production, or related field with experience.
• Understanding and working knowledge of large venue IT/AV operations and maintenance.
• Experience in setup, execution, and teardown of events is preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
• Some experience with light machinery (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jacks) is preferred.
• Strong, professional communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and in a team, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Setup/tear down of event IT/AV functions including delivering equipment and materials.
• Facilitates warehouse equipment movement and event setup/teardown.
• Assist with assembly of event staging, space layouts, and other materials.
• Serve as IT/AV contact to adjust event setups and ensure readiness for events.
• Provide excellent customer service during Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum events.
