Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking a Guest Services Staff member for the University of Wisconsin – Madison. You will welcome attendees, provide information, and support event operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with setup, guiding guests, and addressing questions with professionalism. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to develop customer service skills in a dynamic events setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet local regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Customer service or hospitality experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist event attendees with a warm, helpful attitude.
• Support event setup, signage placement, and related tasks.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event and venue.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions and exits.
• Address inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors and teams for smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Adhere to company policies and deliver high service standards.
