BEST Crowd Management is seeking Guest Services staff to support University of Wisconsin - Madison events in Madison, WI. This part-time position focuses on delivering exceptional attendee service, assisting with setup, and guiding guests to seating and facilities. You should be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess strong communication and reliability.

Prior customer service is a plus; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old (age requirements vary by local regulations).
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming and assisting event attendees.
• Assist with event set-up, including equipment arrangement and signage placement.
• Monitor event areas for cleanliness, organization, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event, facilities and amenities.
• Guide guests to seating areas, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety and a positive experience.
• Adhere to company policies to maintain high standards of service excellence.
