Job summary

Main Event in Kansas is seeking an Event Coordinator to help plan memorable birthday and event experiences, partnering with Guests to tailor and deliver a FUN-focused plan while upholding safety. You will input guest data, manage event details, and support sales targets across corporate, group and birthday events.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and reliability, with availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior food & beverage or retail experience; sales experience a plus.
• Guest-focused mindset and strong teamwork.
• Ability to communicate with management, team members and guests.
• Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests, acting as ambassador of FUN.
• Sell, schedule and coordinate corporate, group and birthday events.
• Input sales revenue and guest information into systems; manage follow-up tasks.
• Partner with Sales Manager to exceed targets and quarterly plans.
• Prospect and develop relationships for new and repeat business.
• Support local store marketing to drive walk-in and event sales.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and perform opening, mid-day or closing duties.
