The Wendy Williamson Auditorium at the University of Alaska in Anchorage seeks an upbeat Event Coordinator & Facilitator to deliver outstanding customer service and reliable technical support for students, faculty, staff, and the community.

The role covers theatrical sound and lighting systems, fly rigging, and basic A/V, with responsibilities for projection and livestreaming, setup and operation of sound, lighting, and video equipment.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Theatre, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years in theatrical technology, event management, customer service, or administrative services ideal.
• Foundational understanding of theatrical sound design, lighting systems, fly systems, and basic A/V tech.

Mansioni

• Assist with design, setup, rigging, and operation of sound equipment.
• Assist with setup, placement, and rigging of theatrical lighting equipment and programming of lighting systems.
• Support projection and livestreaming; operate lighting console during events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client communication.
• Utilize computer applications (spreadsheets, documents, PDFs) with accuracy and attention to detail.
