Job summary

The University of North Georgia is seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Event Support Coordinator to provide expert A/V support for campus and community events, including live sound, projection, recording, and streaming. You will train and supervise AVES student workers, coordinate event schedules, and ensure accessibility standards are met.

Travel across UNG campuses, occasional evenings/weekends, and collaboration with the Video Communications Manager are required to deliver seamless audiovisual

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Three years of audio/visual support and/or information technology experience or equivalent.
• Experience with AV hardware and streaming interfaces preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for live events including concerts, conferences, lectures, and graduations; handle setup, operation, and teardown of AV equipment.
• Maintain AVES events schedules, coordinate equipment and staff, and ensure communication prior to events.
• Manage AVES student workers: training, scheduling, timecards, and performance feedback.
