Job summary

Fooda, Inc. is hiring an on-site Event Coordinator for our Ohio market. The role focuses on supporting events, setting up and breaking down venues, and delivering excellent customer service while learning Fooda’s technology and SOPs.

Ideal candidates have hospitality/events experience, are tech–savvy, and comfortable working a flexible schedule (10am–2pm, with potential 8am–4pm shifts). Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events background preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist at events onsite: setup, tear down, and cleanup.
• Learn Fooda technology and standard operating procedures.
• Resolve issues with orders, deliveries, or emails.
• Troubleshoot POS and onsite technology.
• Promote Fooda promotions and coach the Fooda mobile app.
• Audit restaurant event setups for consistency.
• Escalate issues to the Operations Manager when needed.
• Support shifts 10 am–2 pm; may span 8 am–4 pm depending on market.

Fooda is currentlyrecruiting for a full timeEvent Coordinator in our Ohio market.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coachingProvide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch we have 2 positions availableMonday - Friday(10 am – 2 pm)but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
