Job summary

Fooda is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator in Ohio to support onsite events, manage setup/teardown, and ensure a superior customer experience at lunch events.

You will work with Fooda tech, troubleshoot issues with orders and POS, and help promote the Fooda app to participants. Previous catering or serving experience is preferred, and being comfortable driving locally is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles within events or hospitality.
• Ability to operate tech tools and adapt to new systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Fooda events onsite, including setup, teardown, and customer experience.
• Learn Fooda technology and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues with orders, deliveries, and communications with venues.
• Resolve POS and onsite technology issues, including TV menu boards.
• Conduct onsite promotions and provide app coaching to users.
• Provide real-time customer service to promptly resolve issues.
• Escalate complex problems to the Operations Manager when needed.
• Hours primarily lunch (10am-2pm) with potential 8am-4pm shifts.

Fooda is currentlyrecruiting for a full timeEvent Coordinator in our Ohio market.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch Monday - Friday(10 am - 2 pm)but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You're looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
