Job summary

Fooda is hiring a full-time Event Coordinator to support onsite events and partner restaurants. The role focuses on setting up and tearing down setups, ensuring quality customer experience, and learning Fooda’s technology and procedures.

Responsibilities include resolving order issues, troubleshooting POS and TV displays, conducting on-site promotions, and coaching app use. Two lunch-hour focused roles exist, with potential 8am-4pm variation by market.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events background preferred.
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Onsite set-up and tear down; clean equipment and site areas; ensure high quality setup and customer experience.
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and operations procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues with orders, deliveries, communications; resolve promptly with customers.
• Resolve POS and onsite technology issues; manage TV menu boards.
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching; provide real-time customer service.
• Audit restaurant event setup for consistency and quality; escalate issues to Operations Manager as needed.
• Hours are primarily during lunch; two positions available Mon-Fri 10am–2pm; may span 8am-4pm depending on market.

Fooda is currentlyrecruiting for a full timeEvent Coordinator in our Ohio market.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coachingProvide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch we have 2 positions availableMonday - Friday(10 am – 2 pm)but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
