Job summary

Fooda in El Paso is seeking a friendly, energetic part-time teammate to support our on-site food events. You will help set up and tear down equipment, assist as a back-up cashier, drive equipment to sites, and ensure a high-quality guest experience during lunch hours.

The role emphasizes customer service, tech comfort with Fooda's systems, reliability, and local know-how. Work hours are 10am–2pm Monday to Friday, with a potential 8am–4pm window depending on market needs; expect 20–25 hours

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down event equipment, clean areas, and maintain high quality setup and guest experience.
• Serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés when needed.
• Drive equipment and food to Fooda sites and handle deliveries.
• Troubleshoot issues with orders, deliveries, or communications on-site.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly.

Who We Are:

Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited, and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago's local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.

Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 60 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.

Powered by technology and a network of 1500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. What You'll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés for team members who have time off, and 3.) driver responsibilities, delivering equipment and food to Fooda sites
• Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch (10 am - 2 pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you're capable of finding solutions
• You are a strong communicator and self-starter
• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You're someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You're looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
