Fooda is hiring a part-time Event Coordinator in Buffalo, NY to support onsite events for our lunch and dinner programs. You will set up and tear down event spaces, ensure equipment readiness, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This role offers hands-on learning of Fooda’s technology and operating procedures in a fast-paced startup environment. Ideal candidates bring hospitality or events experience, are highly organized, and can manage multiple tasks with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Onsite setup, teardown, clean equipment, and ensure high quality setup.
• Learn Fooda’s technology and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues like incorrect orders, late deliveries, or miscommunication.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly.
• Audit restaurant event setups for consistency and quality.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when needed.
• On-site schedule: Monday through Thursday for lunch and dinner programs.

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part-time Event Coordinator in our Buffalo, NY market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• On-site Schedule: Monday through Thursday for our lunch and dinner programs.

• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
