Fooda is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for the Buffalo, NY market. The role supports onsite events, from setup to tear down, ensuring high-quality customer experience while working closely with local restaurants and Fooda technology.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or events experience, strong communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment. Schedule is Monday–Thursday during lunch and dinner programs.

Responsibilities

• Support Fooda events onsite from setup to teardown and ensure high-quality customer experience.

• Resolve issues like incorrect orders, late deliveries, or miscommunication quickly.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to customers.
• Audit restaurant event set-up for consistency and quality.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when needed.
• On-site schedule: Monday through Thursday for lunch and dinner programs.

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part-time Event Coordinator in our Buffalo, NY market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• On-site Schedule: Monday through Thursday for our lunch and dinner programs.

• You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions
• You are a strong communicator and self-starter
• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 20-25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility.
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
