Job summary

Fooda Buffalo is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator to support onsite catering events, including setup, tear-down, and guest service across lunch and dinner programs. The role emphasizes customer interactions, problem-solving, and maintaining high-quality event experiences.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality or events background, strong communication, and comfort with technology in a fast-paced startup environment. 20–25 hours per week with regular daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including onsite setup, teardown, cleaning equipment and site areas, problem-solving, and ensuring high-quality setup and customer experience.
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer.
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event setup to ensure consistency and high quality.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve.
• On-site Schedule: Monday through Thursday for our lunch and dinner programs.

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part-time Event Coordinator in our Buffalo, NY market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.
