Job summary

Fooda is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for our New Jersey market. On-site role supporting Fooda events with setup, teardown, and guest service, Monday through Friday 9 AM–2 PM, 20–25 hours per week.

Prior catering or serving experience is strongly preferred, and you should enjoy fast-paced environments and strong customer relationships. You’ll gain competency with Fooda’s technology and SOPs while delivering high-quality experiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down event spaces and clean equipment.
• Maintain site areas and ensure high-quality setup and service.

• Provide real-time onsite customer service to guests.
• Conduct audits of restaurant event setup for consistency.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when needed.

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our New Jersey market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• On-site Schedule: Monday through Friday 9AM-2PM

• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 20-25hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
