Fooda is recruiting a part-time Event Coordinator for our Buffalo, NY market. You’ll support events onsite, set-up and tear-down, clean equipment, problem-solve, and ensure a high-quality guest experience while collaborating with a network of local restaurants.

You’ll gain competency with Fooda’s technology and operations procedures, handle on-site scheduling, and provide real-time customer service to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior catering or serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Fooda events onsite, including setup, teardown and ensuring high quality guest experience.
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues such as incorrect orders or late deliveries; provide real-time on-site customer service.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed.
• On-site Schedule: Monday through Thursday for lunch and dinner programs.

Fooda is currentlyrecruiting for a part-time Event Coordinator in our Buffalo, NY market.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• On-site Schedule: Monday through Thursday for our lunch and dinner programs.

• You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up
• You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions
• You are a strong communicator and self-starter
• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for asteady part-time job (between 20-25hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility.
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
