Job summary

Hudson House in Jersey City, New Jersey seeks an energetic Event Coordinator to support the catering and sales teams in planning and executing events. This role provides hands-on involvement with contract prep, client communication, and vendor coordination in a dynamic hospitality setting.

This full-time position offers exposure to event menus, packets, and logistics, with opportunities to grow in event sales and coordination within Landmark Hospitality’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality, events, or a similar field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech Savvy; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Catering and Sales Managers with clerical and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with clients when the sales team requires assistance: drafting contracts, handling check-ins, etc.
• Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details in appropriate software.
• Create and maintain menu packets and Thank You gifts for appointments.
• Assist the Sales Team with appointments and booking parties.
• Coordinate with event vendors.
