Job summary

Savory Hospitality is seeking a Hospitality Coordinator to support catering and events from setup through breakdown in New York. You will work closely with culinary, events, logistics, sales, and clients to ensure seamless execution and outstanding guest experiences.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality or related fields, strong client service, and excellent organization and communication. Flexible schedule and team collaboration are important components.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality, catering, events, or related experience.
• Strong client service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned events from preparation through breakdown.
• Review Banquet Event Orders and confirm event details and requirements.
• Oversee event setup, service execution, and onsite staff.
• Ensure events meet Savory's service, presentation, and hospitality standards.
• Communicate with clients and respond to needs throughout the event.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions before and during events.
• Collaborate with culinary, operations, logistics, sales, and account management teams.
• Maintain event documentation, tracking systems, and inventory.
• Support Hospitality Managers with additional projects as needed.
