Job summary

Adoption Group, based in Washington, DC, is seeking an enthusiastic Event Coordinator for a 4–6 month contract position. The role is hybrid, working Monday–Friday with an 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule in Washington, DC. Compensation is hourly, with benefits like medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

The candidate will plan and manage diverse events and meetings, from requirement gathering to delivering supporting materials, coordinating speakers, and engaging VIP attendees.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, administrative support, or project assistance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce and Cvent is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities, a confident communication style, and a can-do attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities
