We're Tasting Collective (tastingcollective.com), the nation's largest private supper club community on a mission to reinvent the traditional dining experience. Every month, we team up with top independent restaurants across the country to turn their dining rooms into culinary stages, allowing chefs to showcase their talents and connect with our food-obsessed members. Currently, we operate in 18 cities and are about to launch in Phoenix as city #19!

We are seeking a talented Event Lead to help produce our events at the city's best restaurants in a part-time, ongoing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Represent Tasting Collective at our events in Phoenix
• Interface directly with acclaimed chefs, restaurant staff, and members
• Set up event equipment (PA system, guest name tags, menus)
• Configure seating charts and welcome attendees
• Emcee and lead Q&A sessions with the chef
• Pack up and return equipment post-event

Ideal Candidate

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Outgoing and personable
• Self-confident, able to delegate tasks and manage staff
• Dependable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in event coordination, theater/performance production, or TV/Film is a plus
• Experience in restaurants is beneficial but not required
• Passionate about food and restaurants is a plus

Position Details

This is a part-time position, primarily on event days, typically 1-3 days/month in Phoenix, usually on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, with occasional Thursdays. Work starts around 11:30 AM on event days. If you're seeking full-time work or have a traditional 9-5 job, this role may not be suitable.

Compensation

$400 per day
