Job summary

Arc Herkimer's MV Golf & Kucerak Event Center in New York seeks an organized Event Coordinator to plan weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and banquets from client meeting to cleanup.

You will manage guest experiences, vendor relations, budgets, and safety compliance, lead a team, build relationships, and promote the venue to grow business.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• At least one year of event coordination experience.
• Three years of restaurant, bar, or banquet experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and customer service skills.
• An Arc Herkimer-approved driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as events require.

Arc Herkimer is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-focused Event Coordinator to bring weddings, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, banquets, and special celebrations to life at the MV Golf & Kucerak Event Center!

What You’ll Do

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee events from the first client meeting to the final cleanup.

• Create exceptional guest experiences while managing event details, schedules, vendors, menus, and setup.

• Lead, schedule, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service.

• Build client and community relationships while promoting our venue and generating new business.

• Manage inventory, purchasing, cash reconciliation, and event budgets.

• Oversee daily operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards, licensing requirements, and NYS Liquor Authority regulations.

• Identify opportunities to increase sales, grow revenue, and make our venue a go-to destination for memorable events.
