Job summary

Arc Herkimer – MV Golf and Event Center in Little Falls, NY, is hiring a Bar Manager to lead bartenders and service staff, schedule and train the team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Competitive pay: $24.00 per hour plus tips, full-time. You will oversee service during events, maintain safety and cleanliness, manage inventory, and collaborate with the chef and event coordinators to create engaging drink programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of bartending experience required.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support bartenders and wait staff during restaurant, bar, and event shifts.
• Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and coaching.
• Work alongside your team to keep service running smoothly.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests receive outstanding customer service.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Monitor inventory, beverage supplies, and product costs while helping reduce waste.
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Collaborate with the Event Coordinator and Head Chef on drink specials, promotions, and guest-focused initiatives.
• Complete shift documentation, cash-handling procedures, and other required records.
• Help ensure compliance with New York State Liquor Authority regulations and agency policies.
