Job summary

Arc Herkimer's MV Golf & Kucerak Event Center is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, banquets, and celebrations in our venue.

The role requires coordinating from client meetings through final cleanup, managing guest experiences, schedules, vendors, menus, and setup, and leading staff to ensure outstanding service. A driver’s license is required, and flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of event coordination experience.
• Three years of restaurant, bar, or banquet experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and customer service skills.
• Arc Herkimer-approved driver’s license required.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends as events require.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee events from the first client meeting to the final cleanup.
• Create exceptional guest experiences while managing event details, schedules, vendors, menus, and setup.
• Lead, schedule, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service.
• Build client and community relationships while promoting our venue and generating new business.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, cash reconciliation, and event budgets.
• Oversee daily operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards, licensing requirements, and NYS Liquor Authority regulations.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, grow revenue, and make our venue a go-to destination for memorable events.
