Fooda is recruiting for a Part Time Event Coordinator in De Soto, KS. This role is ideal for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service and support a broad network of local restaurants.

You’ll be onsite to help set up, tear down, manage on-site technology, and ensure a high-quality customer experience during lunch hours. Flexible part-time schedule and growth opportunities within Fooda.

Qualifications

• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred.
• Steady part-time schedule (20–25 hours/week) during regular business hours.
• Able to work lunch hours 10 am–2 pm, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, tear down, and on-site cleanup to ensure quality at Fooda events.
• Operate and troubleshoot Fooda technology and procedures.
• Resolve issues for orders, deliveries, and communication in real time.
• Provide on-site customer service and coaching for promotions.
• Conduct audits of restaurant event setup for consistency.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when needed.
• Work primarily during lunch hours (10 am–2 pm) for about 20 hours weekly.

Fooda is recruiting for a Part TimeEvent Coordinator in De Soto, KS.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch (10 am – 2 pm) and 20 hours per week.

• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Monday - Friday 20 hours a week
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
