Fooda is seeking a Part Time Event Coordinator in De Soto, KS to support on-site events, set-up and tear-down, and customer service for our rotating popup restaurant program. You will work with local restaurants and the Fooda platform to ensure high-quality experiences for employees at client sites.

The role emphasizes hospitality experience, strong communication, tech comfort, and the ability to manage multiple tasks during peak lunch hours (10am–2pm).

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or events is favorable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site customer service and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist at events including setup and teardown.
• Learn Fooda technology and procedures.
• Resolve order or delivery issues promptly with customers.
• Troubleshoot POS and onsite tech as needed.
• Promote Fooda promotions and mobile app use.
• Provide real-time customer service on-site.
• Audit restaurant event setup for quality and consistency.
• Escalate issues to the Operations Manager when needed.
• Work lunch hours 10am–2pm, part-time 20 hours/week.

Nearby options were limited,and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. Fooda is recruiting for a Part Time Event Coordinator in De Soto, KS. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch (10 am - 2 pm) and 20 hours per week.

• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Monday - Friday 20 hours a week
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
