Fooda is seeking part-time event support in New Albany, IN. This role involves onsite setup, promotions, and responsive customer service during lunch hours, with potential early-starts or extended shifts depending on market needs.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with Fooda’s tech platform and operations while working in a fast-paced startup environment. Previous catering or serving experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is advised.

Qualifications

• Prior catering or serving experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Available for 5–25 hours per week during standard lunch hours.
• Reliable transportation and own vehicle recommended.

Responsibilities

• Onsite setup and tear down, cleaning equipment and site areas.
• Provide high-quality customer experience and resolve issues promptly.
• Learn and use Fooda technology and operations procedures.
• Troubleshoot basic problems with POS, onsite tech, and TV menu boards.
• Conduct promotions and coaching with mobile app during events.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when needed.
• Hours primarily 10 am–2 pm, Monday–Friday; may extend to 8 am–4 pm.

Who We Are:

Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited,and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.

Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 60 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.

Powered by technology and a network of 3,500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch we have 2 positions availableMonday - Friday(10 am – 2 pm)but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
