Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking an Event Concierge for Oak Grove Property to support group events and banquets. The role collaborates with Food & Beverage and Marketing to ensure smooth event execution in a high-energy environment.

The position requires maintaining service standards, safety, and the ability to work weekends and nights. A high school diploma and Kentucky gaming/racing license eligibility are preferred. This is an on-site role at Oak Grove, KY.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, entertainment, sports, or a similar environment.
• Prior experience with audio visual equipment setup and operation is a plus.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license

Responsibilities

• Creates a fun-filled, entertaining environment with flawless service delivery.
• Upholds service standards and enforces coaching/accountability measures.
• Ensures safety and security of employees and customers.
• Performs room set-ups according to floor plan and banquet orders.
• Executes table settings, buffet setups, displays, and bars as per banquet orders.
• Closes down and cleans banquet spaces after events.
• Coordinates with F&B and Marketing to confirm event details and day-of requests.
• Maintains courteous, professional communication with customers (internal and external).
• Other duties as assigned.
