Job summary

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel is seeking an Events Concierge to work closely with Food & Beverage and Marketing teams to facilitate group events and banquets at our Oak Grove, Kentucky property.

The role requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, comfort with physical event setup, and availability on weekends, holidays, and nights. Prior exposure to AV equipment is a plus, with the possibility to obtain a Kentucky gaming license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, entertainment, sports, or similar environment.
• Prior experience with audio visual equipment setup is a plus.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining environment with flawless service delivery.
• Upholds service standards and coaching/accountability measures.
• Ensures safety and security of employees and customers.
• Performs room setup according to floor plan and banquet orders.
• Executes table settings, buffet setups, displays, and bars per banquet order.
• Handles event close-down and cleanup of banquet spaces.
• Coordinates with F&B and Marketing to confirm event details and day-of requests.
• Maintains courteous, professional communications with customers.
