Job summary

Tokyo Electron U.S. Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Event Specialist / Community Engagement Contractor to support the Marketing and Communications Department's Events Team.

The role spans events and TEL FOR GOOD community activities, requiring strong communication, multitasking, and vendor coordination across the US. Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor relations, timelines, and reporting, with travel up to 10–15% and a hybrid Austin office work model (3 days/week).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, event planning, community engagement or similar role.
• Proven experience in conference and event marketing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multi-task is critical to success.
• Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations with some financial acumen.
• Some domestic (US) travel required (10-15%).
• TEL operates on a hybrid work model requiring at least 3 days a week in the Austin office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize internal and external events assigned, both locally and around the US, including budgets, vendors, timelines and materials.
• Coordinate communications with clients, vendors, and team members on event progress.
• Ensure sponsor and participant satisfaction with event services.
• Develop and manage a calendar of community engagement activities across the US.
• Lead efforts to drive awareness and volunteering for engagement events and manage the community engagement budget.
