Tokyo Electron U.S. Holdings, Inc. is seeking an event specialist/contractor to support the Marketing and Communications Events Team in Austin, balancing internal and external events with community engagement activities.
You will coordinate planning, budgeting, and vendor relations for tradeshows, conferences, and TEL FOR GOOD programs, report progress, and ensure sponsor satisfaction while collaborating with the Sustainability and Communications teams.
**This is a full-time Contractor position** Tokyo Electron U.S. Holdings is searching for an event specialist / community engagement contractor to assist our Marketing and Communications Department’s Events Team. The position will report into the Events Manager. This person should have strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multiple members associated with the events and activities. This role will flex between events and community engagement activities. Typical events planned by the team are exhibits at tradeshows (such as SEMICON) and external technical and business conferences, internal conferences, award ceremonies and dinners, senior management meetings, and employee meetings. As multiple events are being planned concurrently, the event specialist should be able to multitask and prioritize across multiple events to meet deadlines and event milestones. Community engagement will be working with the TEL FOR GOOD program, including the supervision of volunteer activities, the community engagement budget, and our Corporate Donation and Match program.
