Job summary

Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Event Captain to lead service teams at weddings, corporate events, and other special events. As the on-site leader, you will supervise staff, deliver guest service, and coordinate with clients, venues, and the kitchen.

Part-time, evenings, weekends and holidays required. 10–20 hours per week, on-site at various venues.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of leadership experience in catering, banquets, restaurants, or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise event staff during 10 hours event shifts.
• Manage event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Coordinate service between clients, venue staff, and the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
• Complete event paperwork and payroll documentation.
• Ensure guests receive an outstanding experience.
