Proof of the Pudding has spent the past four decades providing innovative menus, services, design expertise and event experiences to clients in Sports & Entertainment. We are partnered with the Phillies providing elevated food service in the Press/Media area and Executive Dining location.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Food Service Workers to join the Proof of the Pudding team at Citizens Bank Park. This position will work the food service buffets and areas while being in and out of kitchens. This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/breakdown responsibilities.
• Sets bar up in a timely manner, including icing down product.
• Communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
• Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
• Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
• Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
• Record closing inventory.
• Responsible for putting away all inventory as directed.
• Follows all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of bartending experience.
• Must be TIPs/TEAM certified (will accept Team certification or will provide training).
• Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.

Work Environment

The work environment for this position will mainly tend to the press media dining area located in the stadium. This position will move in and out of the kitchen and food service area including but not limited to coolers, freezers, and other sanitary places.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of being in one place, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue.
• Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting up-to 30 pounds.
