Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI, seeks a Conference Concierge for the Banquets Department. You will support Event Managers and banquet operations, ensuring smooth service for meeting planners and convention attendees.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel and/or Banquets and Catering experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Customer-focused with hospitality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be identifiable, visible, and accessible at all times to our meeting planners and guests.
• Communicate with the contact and review your role with each group contact.
• Know all hotel facilities and their hours of operation.
• Inform Event Managers and banquet staff of last-minute changes.
• Update Delphi with last-minute changes.
• Identify opportunities for catering and AV upsell.
• Walk meeting spaces with banquets prior to guest arrival to verify readiness.
• Ensure all food, beverage, AV, and special requests are placed correctly.
• Review and complete Personal Event checklist.
• Assist guests with meeting room setup needs.
