Job summary

Ivy Hospitality in Cleveland, Ohio is looking for a Banquet Server to ensure exceptional service during all banquet events, from weddings to corporate gatherings. This role is responsible for setting up banquet spaces, serving food and beverages professionally, and maintaining high service standards.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for guest service, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or banquet experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry heavy trays, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of banquet service styles, including plated, buffet, and cocktail receptions, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and friendly service during banquet events.
• Set up banquet rooms and tables according to Banquet Event Orders.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance.
• Assist with buffet setups and plated service as required.
• Clear tables and reset spaces efficiently.
