Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Banquet Server for events at Bristol Mountain. This part-time position involves serving food and beverages across a range of event styles, with roles in setup, service, and breakdown.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior banquet/food service experience, and valid alcohol-service certification (TIPS or equivalent). Flexible shifts and competitive pay support a balanced lifestyle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) or equivalent alcohol-service certification, and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements.
• A food handler certification may also be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage services to guests at catered events, including meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions.
• Support service styles from casual buffets to formal plated meals and passed service.
• Participate in event setup, service execution, and breakdown under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events.
• Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with presentation standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
