Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service during events. You will set up banquet rooms, serve courses and beverages, and ensure a seamless dining experience.

The role requires attentiveness, personable demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to stand long hours, bend, lift up to 35 pounds, and comply with safety standards; holidays and weekends may be included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to remember and recite menu items.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed by supervisor.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details.
• Serve the food and beverages in order and to the expectation of the supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
• Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.
• Respond to guest special requests and resolve guest complaints.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Practice safe work habits; wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
