Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service during events and functions. You will set up banquet rooms, serve food and beverages, and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are attentive and personable, with a High School diploma or equivalent; food service experience is a plus. The schedule includes holidays and weekends; benefits include employer-matched 401(k) and hotel room discounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience a plus.
• Ability to remember and recite menu items.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed by supervisor.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details.
• Serve food and beverages as ordered, ensuring consistency.
• Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course.
• Respond to guest special requests and resolve complaints.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
